Healthy Chocolate Mousse

I personally don’t have much of a sweet tooth but even I can’t deny the importance of having a healthy go-to dessert for when a craving hits.

Athletes need to eat well to ensure they’re fueling their bodies properly. This doesn’t mean you cant enjoy the treats you have always enjoyed. With a little research you can find healthy alternatives for almost all of your favourite dishes.

This recipe inspired by Vered DeLeeuw is a quick and easy option using ingredients that most people have on hand and can be whipped up on the spot without any prep. It provides a great source of protein without any of the bad stuff, and its 100% natural!

All you need is:

  • 1 cup greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Honey to taste

Mix everything together and let rest for about 10 minutes. Once rested enjoy your delicious desert for one!
